March 15. 1957 Burroughs E?raduate Named Honor Student Mary D. Weins, former Burroughs High School student and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion G. Draper, 103-B Richmond, has been named to the honor roll at the University of Redlands for last fall's semester'. \. . The "Artist of the Month" fea-' tured at the Station LiOrary for the' mOIi.th of March is Philip Schuyler, ~ an illustrator in the Rocket' Devel~1 opment Department.' , , A native of the \Vest Coast, Schuyler became art director at sev- : enll moving-picture studios in the' region before moving to New York City in 1935 to continue his studies with the Art Students League. I In 1940, Schuyler joined the Army; and was retired as a Captain in 1945 after being wounded in Europe. After that, he worked as newspai>~r staff artist with both the Boston Herald and the P~iladelphia In- quirer,while also exhibiting paint- ings in Boston, Washington, New York and Philadelphia. He was also Head of the 'Art Department at Steubenville College..
