Jake Legier and Scott AndersoniLegier
Services will be held this after
noon for Jake T. Legier, 5, and
Scott C. Anderson-Legier, 11. They
died following a traffic accident in
Belfair.
Jake died at the scene on Febru-
ary 15. Scott died on February 16
at Harborview Medical Center in
Seattle.
Jake was born in Idaho Falls,
Idaho, on July 7, 1989. Scott was
born on December 30, 1983 in Fonr
tana, California. Their parents
were John and Suzy (Melendez)
Leiger. Jake was a kindergartener
at Sand Hill Elementary School in
Belfair. Scott was a fifih grader at
Sand Hill.
Jake lived in Idaho Falls and
Scottin Idaho Falls, Concord, Cali-
fornia, and Montclaire, California,
before they moved to Belfair two
years ago, Jake loved his Micro
Machines and anything colored
green. Scott liked science, building
models, rockets, fishing, camping,
playing baseball and the Boy
Scouts. Scott was a member ofBelA
fair Troop 51 of the Boy Scouts.
Survivors include their parents,
Chief John and Suzy Legier; their
grandparents, Dr. John T, and
Jane Legier of Key Largo, Florida,
and Alex and Marge Melendez of
Upland, California; their aunts,
Nancy Legier of Los Angeles, Cali-
fornia, and Catherine Doenitz of
Oregon; and their uncle, Alex
Melendez Jr. of Belfairt
Chaplain Robert Burt of the
USS Nimitz and Pastor Dennis
Smith will officate at funeral ser-
vices scheduled to begin at 1 p.ml
on February 23 at the Belfair As-
sembly of God Church. Burial will
be in Twin Firs Cemetery, Arr
