(Jug) Potter sold McAferty was backing a tractor from a, truck,; running it on two planks from the back of the truck, when one of the plank: broke, causing the tractor to fall, crushing McAferty. McAt‘ei‘Ly's seven-year-old-sun, Pat, and Ivan .Neuenschwander were harrified wimesses to the tragedy. The accident happened at ten o'clock in the morning on Vle Bum nell's-plece at Dayton. McAferty's home was at StanRoute Two, Box; 423. in the Dayton area. Funeral services. for Ma. He was born April 7, 1902 in Madison County, Iowa. He was a member of the Shelton Carpenters’ Union. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth McAferLy. Shelton; five sun , Edger L.
