ter. He was 93 years old and
a former Shelton resident.
He was

He joined the Army Air
Corps in 1942 and went on
to be an instructor pilot at
Williams Air Force Base in
Arizona He was honorably
discharged in 1943 as a first
lieutenant
Mr. Kneeland married
Sheila Fay Bixby on July
25, 1992 in Shelton. He was
previously married to Elsie
Smith, Who died in 1990.
He worked for Simp-
son Timber Company for
31 years as an accountant,
retiring in 1981. He was a
Shelton city commissioner
for 25 years.
He was a member of Saint
Edward’s Catholic Church,
40 et 8, Eagles, Moose and
American Legion
He enjoyed sports as a
youth, golf, raising straw~
berries, yard Work, shiimp-
ing and traveling. He was
fond of his dog Pandy,
He is survived by wife
Sheila Kneeland of DuPont;
sons Tim Kneeland of Re-
dondo Beach, California,
Ken (Angie) Kneeland of
Half Moon- Bay, Califor-
nia, Bill (Diane) Kneeland
of San Jose, California,
Pete (Jeanine) Kneeland of

held on Saturday, May 29,
at 1 p.111. at Saint Edward‘s
Catholic Church in Shelton.
A reception will follow at the

in Shelton.
