Mild??? 5311‘ Mildl- lgtie” Fair of Shelton died Wednesday, April 26, of pneumonia at Fir Lane Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 87 years old and had lived in the Shelton area for 20 years. She was born April 15, 1913 in Baltimore, Maryland, to William and Helen (Auld) Butler. She married her childhood sweetheart, Walker Y. Brooks, in Baltimore in 1942. He preceded her in death, and she married Homer Fair in 1973 in Los An- geles, California. He also preced- ed her in death. Mrs. Fair was a registered nurse, She moved to California with her first husband and was primarily a homemaker, raising her two sons and taking an active part in church activities. She moved to Alderbrook in 1980 with Mr. Fair and the cou- ple took pride in clearing the property and building their home there. She is survived by a son, Ken- neth Brooks of San Diego, and by three grandchildren and three nieces. No funeral services are planned. Inumment will be held at a later date in Baltimore. Family members request that memorial donations be made to Fir Lane Health and Rehabilita- tion Center at 2430 North 13th Street, Shelton, 98584.
