He was born March 24, 1506 to Adolph and Philomena (Schwitzer) Buechel, in Syracuse, NY. He moved to Dayton in 1909. Mr. Buechel worked as a logger and a trucker for many years. He was a member of the St. Edward's Catholic Church. He was an avid gardener, and loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed telling sto- ries about logging and trucking Surviving Mr, Buechel are his wife, Vivian, Shell/on; three sons, Thomas, Lacey, Joseph, Shelton, and Peter, Monterey, Calif; a sis- ter, Tharcilla Diesen, Kirkland; also nine grandchildren and 20 gmatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 am, Monday, April 20, in St Edward’s Catholic Church, Shelton. The Rev. Edward Re- ceconi, 083., will officiate.
