James Oldroyd James Oldroyd Jr., 79, of Al- lyn, died on Friday, August 6, in Bremerton. He was born November 28, 1919, in Quincy, Massachusetts. Mr. Oldroyd was a veteran of the US. Navy, and a survivor of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, where he was serving aboard the USS He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, and a further member of the Elks. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Phyllis; one son, James Oldroyd III of Bremerton; three daughters, Sue Lindberg. Joan Marie Grande and Jean Marie Abad, all of Bremerton; six grand- children; and two greatrgrand~ children. A private graveside service was held for family members.
