Harold Landaker
Harold Landaker donated our wonderful children's mural for the 1950 addition. Landaker was a nationally known artist, famous for
his oil paintings and ceramic work. The mural is six feet high and 40 feet long, and covered lhe entire wall ofthe new children's
room. It was painted on canvas, so when the library expanded once again in 1978, the canvas panels were removed, restored, mounted
on wood and moved to the new, expanded, children's wing.
